Formation

tú-form drops the s from present indicative (habla, come, vive); vosotros replaces the infinitive's -r with -d (hablad, comed, vivid); usted/ustedes/nosotros borrow from the present subjunctive. Eight verbs have a short irregular tú-form: di, haz, ve, pon, sal, sé, ten, ven.
